Whoever thought that frozen berries would be anything but
mushy gross mess? The other day, I picked up some frozen boysenberries on whim
and they weren’t half bad! I made a batch of deliciously refreshing Boysenberry
jam.
Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients
1.5 Lb Boysenberries (Frozen or fresh)
2 Tablespoon Local Honey
1 Lemon
Method
1. Zest and juice the lemon.
2. In a medium sized saucepan, add the boysenberries, honey, lemon zest and juice.
3. Turn the heat on medium-high and let it come to a boil.
4. Let the mixture bubble and thicken.
5. Once thick, let it cool and store in a clean jar.
6. Enjoy!
